RAM for an attractive price?

The Story

To check for myself, I had to use the Internet.

My first search result was like a page bombastically named... AFFORDABLE RAM PRICES on a popular store.

I click on it. It says 0 results.

Google says:

RAM prices are surging by 50%–300% (with some high-capacity kits up to 6x) due to intense demand from AI data centers, which are consuming the majority of production capacity. Manufacturers are prioritizing high-margin server memory, resulting in severe supply shortages for consumer DDR4 and DDR5. This trend is expected to continue throughout 2026

Poetry

I search the Internet, I search for RAM,

And suddenly my browser’s gone insane,

Displaying prices – a frantic, awful game!

“DDR5 Beast Mode? Extreme Velocity!”

My wallet wept: “This isn’t economy!”

Then came the notices, bold and bright,

“Supply Chain Issues!”

“Demand Burning Bright!”

The prices surged, a ludicrous spree,

“Kingston HyperNIC? Five thousand, you see!”

“Crucial’s CloudBurst? A staggering cost!”

My retirement fund is utterly lost!

I tried to bargain, “Just a modest plea!

Could someone please sell me some RAM for me?”

But sellers just chuckled, a digital sneer,

“The GPU market’s hungry, my dear!” ;)

So I’m stuck here, staring at the screen,

Lost in a RAM-fueled, ridiculous scene.

I’ll stick to spreadsheets, small and meek, I’ll wait for weeks... !

Unless I go bankrupt, and my sanity leaks!

RAM’s a black hole now,

Sucking wallets, silent screams,

Just buy it, please, quick!

Silicon’s plotting,

“Gigabytes will rule the world!”

My bank account cries.
