Some thoughts on MY failures over the years (with a sprinkle of wisdom and hopefulness for the future)
It is me - just an average loser, like most of you on the site. A person from the crowd. And I am honest about it. I've failed so many times in my life that I stopped counting. If there was an amateur sports competition, I always placed second at best. If there was a poo on the road, I stepped on it. I was fired from my first programming job one month after starting it. I got conned and almost was homeless for two or three months in my life. I failed at making video games (so many of us did, didn't we?), and also at making mobile apps. It actually took me 16 years to publish a non-professional video game (after numerous abandoned projects over the years). Whenever I join any kind of competitive event, I lose it. This includes Ludum Dare (six times, though I am getting better). Once I was playing Karate Kid (not a kid anymore) and didn't manage to kick the empty space. I kicked the hard part of the door (not the open one) and got swelling on my foot. Once I dropped my keys in the trash [with the actual trash]. I really am an idiot. I started a philosophical blog ten years ago. Wrote one article of 3k words. It was good. Then something happened and nothing happened. I started a blog on JS programming three years ago. Wrote four articles. Then realized that the theme is not that important, and that too ended (actually lucky for me since nobody cares how you write your JS code anymore due to AI). Those are some of my more negligible failures and issues in life.
Yet, even with the bigger ones, I acknowledge an immensely powerful truth: those all are small failures or issues compared to the kind of hardships life brings upon arbitrary people on this planet. People like you and me, like any random, ordinary, good person anywhere. And you should learn about it to calm down. We do live in crazy times. And... do you know what?
Regular, non-critical failure is absolutely normal! Small or a little bit bigger. It's like doing your homework - you don't like doing it at all, yet, it teaches you something, brings an updated perspective. The failure - unless it destroys you, you will still be fine after! And even when it does destroy you, well, can you move on? Often yes. It's just how life works.
The you-need-to-always-win mentality that harms you
What I am TRULY uncomfortable with: we are shoved "win win win" in our face all the time, especially by Western culture! And honestly, I think it is nothing less than a self-inflicted problematic brainwashing for you!! that will destroy all your long-term potential and drain it dry! Do not fall for this cheap trick for dumb people. We all fall for it, I know! Slow down for a bit, shall ya?? Think about it.
While you could enjoy a Marvel movie (I deeply pity you in such case), you are not in the movie itself. Even better - be happy you are out of it!! It's nonsense. See the thing: you always need to lose in order to later win in any meaningful way that truly counts; and when it counts - you know it. You ALWAYS know it internally, even if you can't explain it to anybody. You feel it in your bones, in your gut, in the energy around you. If it's not yet working - keep looking! Actually, it is even hard to find the good things first! So keep looking. Good things are hard; they don't happen with the click of a button. Especially with the click of a button that sends a message to an LLM, as AI companies propose and then fail to deliver (by design)... (chuckle; this is my entire site's pivot LOL).
A side note: every technology that gave too much convenience, for better or worse, also took something from people. Often in subtle ways that go unnoticed easily. In the case of AI, actually, there are multiple blatantly bad things, LOL; it's not even subtle, thus if you squint your eyes just a bit, you see it all (but details are not in this piece).
My point: do good, persevere for a bit, when it makes sense, leave what doesn't work (a lot it is), be brave, take breaks, do not hurry, be honest with yourself and others... and eventually, you will win. In ways never thought possible.
Or not. Life can suck. xD And you may never win. Correct. See what Survivorship Bias means. I try to keep a balance between realism and excitement (and hope for the best). Lay down the emotional horse, you know, if (when) it's too jumpy. We're still human, not robots.
My final thought here is (sorry for the overly-long blabbing): no matter what you do - be down-to-earth and clear-headed. Slow down for a bit and try to see the bigger picture. Life becomes so much more substantial like this. At least to me. SLOW DOWN!! And enjoy the journey, even when you are losing! Good luck, fellow nomster! ;)

💰 About selling stuff
Currenly this website sells exactly nothing. Though it could, in the future, and would actually strive to do so.
The integrity-driven project (and how this website started)
This is a personal-belief project - it's not driven by a product or products; it's driven by belief in integrity and sharing - in a democratic way.
It was the wish to vent that started it all! On the 7th of March, 2026, I had a real deep need to pour it out. It was pent-up. Sick of the AI propaganda at scale. A singularity moment. After eight to ten hours, from early morning, the initial website design + "What" page + first snarky article with mocking poetry + domain bought (and decided) + deployed - was there! This was an internal explosion (or implosion) that manifested into a website. I didn't care about anything else (perfection, etc.). I HAD to do it! To share "what's on my mind" (DEFINITELY not prompted by Facebook or ChatGPT text box... xD 😆).
Point is, I stand behind my word and beliefs. I don't rip anyone; I've been honest my entire life, and I try not to break people's trust. This last one, this is a huge responsibility - it takes a lot of directed effort to be good. And this is where companies, especially big ones, tend to fail miserably.
And I will mock them for it.
So yes, if I am selling something, I will try to align it with this vision. It could be:
- Something silly to demonstrate a point (e.g., what enshittification looks like).
- Something interesting that I've put effort into, that one could find some value in (potentially).
- Both.
- Purely educational stuff (I love sharing). Anyone can teach anyone else something. Not everyone is good at teaching, though (I also am learning).
- Something else I come up with along the way
However, with any of this, I will never shove stuff in your face. My site, my stuff, whatever I decide, but your choice and no forcing. It's called democracy. No cookies, only chocolate here 🍫.
The case for boosting further development
One other argument around adding an option to "buy something" is the following:
If I ever make a buck or two (or more), this would mean I am 1) on the right track, since this is a social project, beyond just personally motivated one, and 2) my ability to invest energy would go through the roof; you know... time and effort magically expand, allowing one to do more and meaningful stuff when financially stimulated. I am not shy talking about such matters. It's just how life works, unfortunately. Money is time and time is freedom, so getting some $£€ always helps on this front. But let's see, nothing is certain. Only ripping after some time. (cry laugh).
In short: the internet says that "having just a few thousand organic (supporting) followers allows a digital undertaking to sustain its creator," and that would have been awesome(!) if it happened... :) Dreams are still free, no?
Also, I have a ton of ideas, and no time to execute on 90% of them. Your input and help on my own suggestions and ideas MAY push me/us in the right-er direction in terms of content (and/or useful resources that could be made available here).
